THE LEADERSHIP CONNECTION DEVELOPS STRONG, COMMITTED LEADERS.

Mission

The Chester County Leadership Connection strengthens future non-profit boards by developing leaders who will focus on creating a vibrant, safe and inclusive community.

History

The rapid growth of Chester County's population has created an impressive array of intellectual capital, creativity and vision. The environment represents a tremendous opportunity for strengthening the core health and human service systems in Chester County. Board leadership for both government and private non-profit organizations has become essential to this effort.

The Chester County Chamber of Business and Industry and United Way of Chester County have formed a partnership to bring the first comprehensive leadership-training program to our community. This program will enhance and develop the personal and professional skills of participants in preparation to serve on non-profit boards.
